What does vicid.com do?

We are an e-business that specializes in online sports technologies. Our services include turnkey team/club/league websites, sports website customization, domain name registration, online registration solutions, league scheduling software, and tournament scheduling and bracket generation software.

How does vicid.com handle refunds?

Refunds will only be given for sports websites if you cancel within 14 days of signing up. There is a $10 cancelation fee for Pro Plus, Deluxe, and Share plans. This is to help cover the cost of the domain name registration, which is not refundable.

Is there a fee for bounced checks?

Yes. Unfortunately we have to charge a $25 fee for any bounced checks. This is to cover the penalty our bank charges us.

I forgot my Vicid Web Admin username / password, how can I log in?

Please remember that usernames and passwords are case sensitive. To retrieve your password, use the 'forgot password' link on the login screen.

Why is my content getting duplicated, and how do I get rid of it?

Typically content gets duplicated when the html gets messed up. This is most often caused when you try to paste content from an external source (such as Word) without using the 'Paste from' buttons. In the future, please use the 'Paste from' buttons to prevent this from happening again. To remove the duplicates that are there now, highlight the duplicated content, and then click the 'remove formatting' button (looks like an erasor). Then delete the duplicate content. Finally, re-apply any desired formatting using the toolbar buttons.

How do I pay by check?

To pay by check, you have two options. The first is to mail us a check. If you choose to do this, we will set up your site once we receive your check. Our mailing address is LeagueUSA, Inc., 675 Thornton Way, Suite B, Lithia Springs, GA 30122. Please be sure to include an e-mail address with your check, as we will use this to contact you if we have any questions. Do you offer domain registration services?

Yes. We give you a domain for free with one of the website plans. If you would like to purchase more, domain registration is $15.95 per year per domain.

Can I point my existing domain name to my new Vicid Sports Website?

Yes. This can be done by editing your DNS settings with your domain name registrar. In your registrar's account manager, you will simply need to set the name server setting to our name servers. Please contact or check your welcome e-mail to find out which name server addresses you should use for your site.

Can I use your software on my current hosting provider?

No. Currently we do not offer software licensing. You can only use our software by signing up for one of our sports website plans.

Do you offer a free website?

We offer free 30-day trial periods for both our team and league/club website plans.

Will you copy the work I have done on my trial website to my pay website?

Yes, we will copy any work that you have done on the trial website to your pay website.

What is the difference between the team and league/club plans?

The main differences between our league/club plans and our teams plans are that the team plans can only create one roster, and keep track of statistics for the players on the one roster, while our league/club plans can keep track of an unlimited number of players and rosters. Our league/club plans also include a scheduler and the ability to create team websites.

Do you offer e-mail accounts?

Yes. We now offer e-mail accounts using your own domain name (ie. yourname@yourdomain.com) with many of our website plans. Additional accounts can be purchased for $9.95 per year for 5 accounts.

How do I access webmail on my website plan?

You can access webmail by going to 'http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail'.

Why am I able to receive e-mails in Outlook, but not send them?

Please make sure that you have set up your account correctly, including the option that enables SMTP authentication. If you have done this, and your outgoing e-mails are still blocked, it is likely because your ISP is blocking port 25 (outgoing e-mails). To get around this, you will need to use your ISP's SMTP server as the outgoing server instead of our server. To see an animated tutorial, click here.

How do I set up an e-mail account in Apple Mail?

- Open Apple Mail.
- Click 'Mail,' and select 'Preferences...'
- Open the 'Accounts' tab, and click the plus sign (+) along the bottom to add a new account.
- Enter your domain name (www.yourdomain.com) in the 'Incoming Mail Server:' field.
- Enter your full e-mail address (including '@yourdomain.com') in the 'User Name:' field.
- Enter your password for that account in the 'Password:' field.
- Select 'Add Server...' from the pop-up labeled 'Outgoing Mail Server,' and enter your domain name (www.yourdomain.com) in the 'Outgoing Mail Server:' field.
- Enter '25' in the 'Server port:' field.
- Do not check the box next to 'Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).'
- Select 'Password' next to 'Authentication:' and enter your full e-mail address (including '@yourdomain.com') and password.
- Click 'OK.'

Why won't the photo I am trying to upload to a photo album upload properly?

This is likely because the photo you are trying to upload is too big. Please try shrinking the file size, as well as the photo dimensions (in pixels) in a photo editor and try uploading it again. The file should not be more than 1MB in size or 1000 pixels in width. A free photo editor named GIMP can be obtained here.

How can I add HTML code to my website?

When in Vicid Web Admin, and using the content editor, you will see a button named "Source". Click this button to reveal the HTML source code. Here you can insert your own HTML. Clicking the "Source" button again will return you to the WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) mode.

What are the prices for additional bandwidth and storage space?

Additional bandwidth is available for $4.95/GB per month. Additional web storage space is available for $19.95 per year for each additional 50MB.

How do I get my site listed on search engines?

First you will need to edit the meta keywords and meta description tags for your site. You can do this on the settings page of Vicid Web Admin. The search engines will use these values to help determine which search phrases should return your site. Next, you will need to submit your site to search engines in order for it to be considered to be added. There is no guarantee that it will be added, and typically it takes a few weeks.
